50th Reunion Welcome Reception

Thursday, March 23 | 5-6:30 p.m.

Barker House, Residence of Rollins College President | 600 Osceola Avenue, Winter Park

President Grant and Peg Cornwell invite the classes of 1973 and prior to their home to kick off your reunion celebration with light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

Note: Parking will be available in front of the Barker House. Name tags and the 1973 Commemorative Books will be handed out to those who attend so they do not have to stop by Registration to pick up their materials. If you do not make it to this event, please stop by Registration to receive your Weekend materials and name tag. Check-in name tags will be required to enter any Alumni Weekend event.

Alumni Convocation

Knowles Memorial Chapel

50th reunion class asked to arrive at 3:20 p.m.

Join President Grant and Peg Cornwell for the official Alumni Weekend welcome ceremony. Highlights include a presidential update, honoring the 2023 Alumni Award recipients, presenting the class of 1973 with their 50th reunion medallions, and announcing the attendance and class gift awards winners.

Notes: The program will include the presentation of 50th Reunion medallions to commemorate this reunion milestone and the 1973 Class Gift presentation. We ask that 50th Reunion attendees arrive at the Chapel 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to sit in reserved seats at the front of the audience. During the ceremony, the group will be asked to stand in recognition of this milestone and the receipt of their medallions. After the ceremony, 50th reunion members are asked to remain in the Chapel for a class photo.

50th Reunion: Order of the Fox Induction, Reception & Dinner

Saturday, March 25 | 6-9 p.m.

The Alfond Inn Conservatory (6 - 6:45 p.m.) & Ballroom (7 - 9 p.m.)
Take a trip down memory lane as you join fellow alumni celebrating their 50th reunion and current Order of the Fox alumni with a cocktail reception and dinner in celebration of your induction to the Order of the Fox Society.

Notes: Schedule for the evening: 5 – 6 p.m. cocktails, 6 – 6:30 p.m. Order of the Fox induction program, 7 p.m. dinner. To acknowledge your part in the Rollins story, the 50th reunion class is inducted into the Order of the Fox society. Inducted members are given a golden fox pin in the shape of the statue that signals the start of a favorite campus tradition. The induction will be led by the 50th Reunion Committee Members and current Order of the Fox members. Pre-registration is required. There is a fee of $75 to attend this event.

50th Reunion Commemorative Book

Each year the Office of Alumni Engagement creates a Commemorative Book for the 50th reunion class—a keepsake book filled with yearbook pictures and submissions from class members reminiscing about their time at Rollins as well as what they are up to today. This book, filled with news and updates from your classmates, is a reunion gift from Rollins. A digital version of the 1973 Commemorative Book will be added after Alumni Weekend.
