Academic Advising

First-Year Students

For many first-year students, this is the first time he/she haves moved away from their home environment. As students are processing this major life change, they are simultaneously trying to identify if Rollins College is a good match for them.

Milestones for First-Year Students

To support first-year students in assimilating to Rollins successfully, we have created milestones that will set first-year students up for success. We value that each student has a diverse set of goals and experiences, so we fully expect that faculty advisors will adapt this guide to milestones and questions that meet the individual needs of their advisee.
