About Rollins

Steven J. St. John, PhD

Professor of Psychology

I have been teaching in the Department of Psychology at Rollins College since 2006. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Florida (1997). My specialty is physiological psychology and behavioral neuroscience, with active research interests in the sense of taste, feeding behavior, and central pattern generators, generally using rat, mouse, and human models. The courses I teach for our major include Physiological Psychology, Neuropsychology, Sensation & Perception, The Psychology of Eating and Drinking Behavior, The Mind-Body Problem, Statistics and Research Methods II, and Perspectives in Psychology. I am also the Program Coordinator of the Neuroscience Minor.

I am on campus most every day and will be happy to meet with you outside of office hours and class.
