Immunizations

Rollins no longer requires proof of vaccinations for attendance. No immunization records need to be submitted.

Immunizations are important to general health and we do strongly encourage certain immunizations, such as:

  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TdaP)
  • Hepatitis B, (Hep B)
  • Meningitis (MCV4)
  • Varicella (or history of Chicken Pox)
  • Tuberculosis screening test (PPD), International Students only

All of the recommended vaccines are available through the Wellness Center, including:

  • Hepatitis A (Hep A)
  • HPV (Gardasil)

 

Examinations

Well Care:

  • Well Woman/gynecological and breast exams
  • Pap smears
  • Contraceptive counseling

Sexual Health:

  • Birth control information
  • Pregnancy testing
  • STI testing is available for both men and women
  • The Wellness Center is a State of Florida registered HIV counseling and testing site.  When making appointments for STI and HIV testing feel free to state the appointment is "for personal reasons" and the subject will be dropped.  Lesbian, bisexual and gay health concerns are addressed with sensitivity.

Episodic Care:

  • Flu
  • Cold
  • Mono
  • Strep throat

 

Laboratory Testing

Rapid lab testing available at the clinc includes:

  • Strep
  • Mono
  • Flu
  • HIV
  • Pregnancy
  • Urinalysis by dipstick
