Hands-on Learning

The Social Entrepreneurship & Business Program believes in learning to lead by example. As a result, business & social entrepreneurship students are required to participate in several hands-on learning experiences.

Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society

Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society serving AACSB-accredited business programs. Beta Gamma Sigma membership is one of the highest recognitions business students can receive. In fact, students must rank in the top 20 percent of their graduating class to be eligible for membership.

Rollins Microfinance Fund

Rollins Microfinance Fund is a nonprofit student organization that raises money to help individuals become entrepreneurs by means of small loans. Microfinance is the process of giving small scale loans to those in poverty so that they can use that money as capital to fund profitable ventures. Once recipients start making money, they pay back the loan. The money that they pay back then continues to be used to fund future loans to new individuals. The group raises money to fund loans through Kiva.
