From the College’s earliest days, athletics has played a key role in educating the Rollins student. That commitment was taken to a new level with the opening of the 75,000-square-foot Harold & Ted Alfond Sports Center in 2001. The facility doubled the size of its predecessor, the Enyart-Alumni Field House. Features include two gymnasiums for intramurals and recreational play as well as banquets and concerts; Daryl’s Fitness Center, with the latest aerobic/cardiovascular and anaerobic exercise equipment; a dance studio; and a juice bar. Fitness programs include sessions such as low-impact aerobics, yoga and stress management.
