The first college in Florida, Rollins was founded in 1885 by a group of Northerners who wanted to give the children of Florida's rapidly growing population the opportunity to experience a New England education. Rollins has grown from a college of three wooden buildings on the shores of Lake Virginia to a startlingly beautiful 70-acre campus of Spanish-Mediterranean architecture. This guide is designed to help you take a self-guided tour of our campus and see for yourself what makes Rollins such a special place.
