Lesley
began her training at the School of Southern Ballet in Atlanta,
Georgia with Karen Conrad and Pittman Corry. She has attended
the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in New York City
and the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina. Lesley
holds a Masters degree in dance from Louisiana State University
and has served on the faculty of a variety of colleges, universities
and professional dance schools. She has choreographed for Valencia
Community College, Southern Ballet Theatre, the Florida Dance
Association, and Rollins College. She received the Monticello
Scholarship for Young Choreographers from the National Association
for Regional Ballet and was nominated by the Orlando Arts Council
for Outstanding Individual Achievement in the Arts. Lesley is
currently a faculty member at Valencia Community College, Rollins
College, and Dr. Phillips High School. She is also a summer faculty
member at Rollins College for Rollins Summer Day Camp. She was
recently chosen as an associate for residency of Merce Cunningham
at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Symrna Beach, Florida.
Dr. Neubauer
received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in modern dance from the University
of Utah, completed her Masters of Arts in dance at Brigham Young
University, and completed her Ph.D. in dance and related arts at
Texas Woman's University. Dr. Neubauer has taught ballet at Virginia
Commonwealth University and Brigham Young University and has taught
dance at various dance studios around the United States, including
Stetson University's Community School of the the Arts. She has performed
as a modern dancer with Bat Dor Dance Company, Tel Aviv, Israel,
and was a soloist with the California Ballet Company and with the
Broward Civic Ballet. Dr. Neubauer specializes in dance history
and is teacher certified in Labanotation. She is also an adjunct
professor of humanities at Valencia Community College.
Dr. Salapa began her training
with the Annandale Dance Theatre under direction of Patricia Nicholson,
Kathleen Brown, and Kay Hearton. Her training continued with the
Maryland Youth Ballet and the Columbia City Ballet. Dr. Salapa received
her Bachelors degree in dance from Shenandoah University, her Masters
of Fine Arts degree in dance from Florida State University, and
was recently awarded her Doctorate of Education from the University
of Central Florida. While attending Florida State, she was awarded
the Florida State University Friends of Dance Scholarship and a
Teaching Assistantship. In addition, she has served on the faculty
of George Mason University and Shennandoah University. She is a
member of the dance faculty at Valencia Community College and Rollins
College.

A member
of the Rollins community since 1984, Dr. Sherry received his Bachelor
of Science from Indiana University, his Masters of Fine Arts from
Southern Methodist University, and his Juris Doctorate from Stetson
University College of Law. In addition, he received dance/theatre
training in New York, Los Angeles, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic
Arts in London. His performance credits include work in New York
City, regional theatres and dance companies, national tours, and
summer stock. He has directed and/or choreographed a broad variety
of musicals, plays, industrial shows, and concert dance works in
both professional and academic settings. Dr. Sherry teaches classes
in dance technique, dance history, movement for actors, theatre,
and musical theatre.
