Heather Ramsier, Program Counselor

Heather RamsierMy name is Heather Ramsier and I am excited to join the Talent Search program. I have had a lifelong love of teaching and truly enjoy working with students. I spent 15 years teaching Social Studies in Osceola County to middle school students. The past two years of my career have been spent at Valencia College’s Osceola Campus teaching political science and student development courses.

I have earned three college degrees on my education path: an Associate in Arts degree from Pasco-Hernando Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, and a Master of Education degree from the University of Central Florida. While at U.C.F. I majored in Social Science Education and was an active member of Delta Gamma fraternity.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, and traveling. I especially like visiting places of natural beauty like our national parks. I am married, have a son, and a dog.
