Piano Academy

The Rollins College Summer Music Piano Academy is meticulously crafted to elevate your piano skills and nurture artistic expression. Participants will engage in one-on-one lessons, masterclasses, and a relaxed ambiance with Rollins College faculty and esteemed International Guest Artists, fostering a unique opportunity for personal connections. Our commitment to maintaining a low instructor-to-student ratio aims to cultivate deeper, more meaningful relationships.

The benefits extend beyond the festival offerings, encompassing exclusive opportunities for collaboration with guest artists affiliated with Rollins College and the Bach Festival Society, renowned for bringing world-class musicians to the stage.

Interactive sessions will explore a range of topics, including music theory and the realities of surviving as a musician, with insights shared by the director of the Bach Society, Dr. Sinclair. This presents a rare chance to glean wisdom from a living legend, shaping the path to a successful future as an artist.

Every participant will have the opportunity to share the stage with faculty members during the culminating Bye-Recital.

To maximize your experience, we encourage full program participation. However, we also offer the flexibility to attend up to three events (audits) and register for private lessons only.

Participation is open to students who have completed 6th grade and up in the 2023-2024 academic year.
