Housing and Meal Plans

How do I get assigned housing?

All incoming students should complete the My Housing application through their Explorations Checklist in Foxlink. Once you’ve entered the My Housing site, select and complete either the incoming first-year or incoming transfer questionnaire. Students who do not plan to live on campus should complete the housing exemption form, which can be accessed through the My Housing link. Housing assignments are typically made in late July, and will be visible on Foxlink as soon as they are finalized.

What meal plan options are available?

All residential students (excepting residents of Sutton Apartments) are required to purchase a Board Plan, which gives them the ability to use their R-Card to purchase food from any of the dining locations on campus. For more information about the meal plan, visit the Rollins Dining Services webpage at http://www.rollinsdining.com/plans.html.

Do I need to live on campus?

All full-time Arts & Science students with less than 60 semester hour must live on campus. Exceptions are made for students residing with their parent or legal guardian within a 50-mile commutable radius of the campus, students who are at least 21 years of age, or students who are married. Students who wish to be exempt from the housing residency requirement must apply and receive approval before the beginning of the academic year. For more information, contact Residential Life at reslife@rollins.edu or 407.646.2649.

I’m planning to live off-campus. Do I still need to complete a housing application on my Foxlink?

Yes, you still need to login in to Foxlink and fill out the housing exemption form.

When do housing assignments happen?

To insure the best possible roommate pairings, incoming students for fall semester will receive their assignments and roommate information toward the end of July. Spring semester incoming students will typically receive information approximately a week prior to the residence halls opening for spring semester.
