Hi, I’m Marie Battaglia and I am a Student Success Coach. I received my BAH in Psychology from the University of Guelph, and am in my second year of the Rollins’ Masters of Mental Health Counseling program. I am from 20 minutes outside of Toronto, and as such love hockey, say eh like it is my job, and always welcome a hot cup of Tim Hortons. During my time at Rollins College I have had the opportunity to learn a lot, meet amazing people, and participate in campus activities/events. My hope is that all students, incoming and returning, have a similar positive experience while at Rollins and I am happy to help ensure that this occurs!
Hi all! My name is Anita Cox and I am a Student Success Coach and the Office Athletics Coordinator. My primary role is to work as a liaison between athletics and the Office of Student Success as well as advising students through their academic journey. During my time at Rollins, I was a three-year letter winner for the varsity soccer team after transferring from Murray State University. During my senior year I served as team captain as well as co- president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. It has been my pleasure to spend my Undergraduate years as a Rollins College Tar, so much so, that I am currently continuing my education at the Crummer Graduate School of Business. I look forward to meeting you and can not wait for you to gain a great experience, like I have!
Hey! My name is Kesem Omer and I am a Student Success Coach. I was born in Guatemala, but raised all over the United States, including two years in Spain. I went to the University of Miami for my undergraduate degree, and last year finished my Masters at Tel Aviv University. I’m about to start my second Masters in Higher Education at UCF. When I’m not working or in class, I enjoy exercising, cooking, hanging out with friends, and going on adventures. I look forward to meeting you all, and making the next 4 years the best years of your life!
Hello! I’m Holly Stallard and I’m excited to work as a Student Success Coach this year! I was an undergraduate student at Rollins majoring in Theatre Arts and Design. I graduated in December of 2012 to begin working for a lighting design firm. I worked on projects in Orlando, Hollywood, and Japan, but there is no place like home! I decided to return to Rollins to receive my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am thrilled to be back continuing my passion for education. You are entering a defining decade of your life and I’m so happy you chose Rollins to be a part of it!
Hello! My name is Drew Williams and I will be working as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Success, assisting students in the role of a Success Coach. I am looking forward to being able to communicate directly with students to identify positive pathways in their college career whether these be in the context of academics, social involvement or personal goals. While an undergraduate student at Rollins, I studied Spanish Language and Literature, along with Education, ultimately placing me in the role of teaching English as a Second Language to high school student back home in the Midwest. My love for education drove me to continue my own, and I am now attending Rollins Holt School to work towards a Masters in Teaching. I can’t wait to meet with you and share what I find so endearing about the Rollins family!
