2. Browse the list of open positions and click "View Details" to get more information about a specific job that interests you.
Please note: Federal College Work Study is available to students who qualify based on financial need. Only students who have been awarded Federal College Work Study by the Office of Financial Aid are eligible to apply for positions marked as "Work Study." You will not be considered for a work study-funded position unless you have received an award letter or email indicating your eligibility.
3. If you are eligible and interested in applying for the position after reviewing the details, click "Apply for this Posting." This will lead you to create a username and password. Keep these in a safe place, as you will have to log back in to see the status of your application.
4. Once logged in, follow the steps to complete the Student Employment Application. You will have a chance to upload a résumé and cover letter during the application process, if you wish.
Please note: keep moving forward until you receive a confirmation number to let you know that you have finished applying for the position. If you have not received a confirmation number, your application is incomplete and the hiring manager will not be able to view it.
5. Make sure to log back in occasionally to check the status of your application(s). Jobs will be posted throughout the year, so keep checking the website if you don't initially find any positions that interest you.
Remember: There can be many students applying for each position, so make sure to include information in your application that makes you distinguishable to your desired department. As with any employment application, demonstrating previous work experience, job skills, motivation, and willingness to learn is beneficial. ** Once you accept a work study position, your applications to other work study positions will be withdrawn. Students cannot have more than one work study position at a time.
