Undergraduate Sociology Programs

The Sociology major consists of a rigorous curriculum designed to promote sociological literacy; to enhance students' awareness and understanding of twenty-first century social problems, including the enduring presence of class, race and gender inequalities; and to cultivate among students the theoretical and methodological skills to investigate the connections between biography, history, and social structure.

In addition to helping you find interdisciplinary connections, sociology courses at Rollins provide a strong foundation in analytical and writing skills. Along with your studies, these tools will help prepare you for a career in a vast array of professions, including education, medicine, law, and business.
