Ruuqayah Ali

Hi there! I’m Ruqayyah and I’m originally from right here in Orlando, FL but my family is from Trinidad & Tobago, which is always home to me. I’m currently a senior Critical Media and Cultural Studies major. I’ve been very involved with the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) since my first year at Rollins. Three years later, I’m currently the president of DESI (South Asian Student Association) and MSA (Muslim Student Association). As an organizational senator representing OMA, I want to get the office’s goals and views out to the student population through SGA. I believe in integration and equality and want to keep Rollins as the inclusive and beautiful campus that it is!

Kassie Berger

My name is Kassie Berger and I am currently a senior majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Sustainable Development. Born and raised just 25 minutes away from campus in Sanford, Florida, I nearly overlooked Rollins as it is so close to home. However, drawn in by its beautiful campus and amazing faculty, I had no choice but to transfer. I am currently involved in EcoRollins, JUMP, Peer Mentoring, Chi Omega, and now serving as SGA representative for Office of Community Engagement. I am looking forward to spending my senior year enhancing the Rollins experience for current and future students and hope that anyone with concerns feels comfortable to voice them to me.
