Please read the below responsibilities of a College Organizer or Event Host for Rollins College.
Whenever a Rollins College individual, department, or campus organization invites Non-Rollins College guests to an event on campus, the College commits space and staff time that may impact other scheduled activities. Therefore, the host and organizer must be an employee of the College and must bear specific responsibility to the event, including but are not limited to the following:
- The event host must be the primary contact with the Department of Scheduling and Event Services when reserving facility space and relaying all event details.
- The event host must be the primary contact and make appropriate arrangements with facilities, Sodexo, and other support services. Other members of the group, that are not employed by Rollins, may not make arrangements or reservations on behalf of the group.
- The event host (or another appointed Rollins Faculty or Staff member) must be present at the event at all times and be the main point of contact for any problems or complications that may arise during or in relation to the event.
