The next greatest academic tradition at Rollins--The Rollins Plan! The Rollins Plan is an alternative method to satisfy general education requirements. The essence of the Rollins Plan program is a series seven courses balanced across the Expressive Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences focused on a “big idea” or theme. The Rollins Plan is designed to actively engage students both in and outside of the classroom.
In short, the Rollins Plan prepares students for the greatest challenges that face our world through a series of courses that are interconnected and designed to produce integrative learning experiences that cut across traditional boundaries.
Students from the Class of 2013 involved in the Rollins Plan will take courses in their major, elective courses, and will choose one of the two Rollins Plan options (Global Challenges: Florida and Beyond or Revolution) to fulfill general education requirements.
