Mary Wetzel Wismar-Davis '76 '80MBA (pictured right) Getting in touch with former classmates to entice them to come to Reunion and support our class gift caused me to drift back to my Rollins days and reminded me of the importance of our role, as Rollins alumni, in supporting our College’s future. It was rewarding that so many of us from the Class of ’76 returned to celebrate our 35th reunion and reconnect with old friends and memories… memories of the special journey that helped shape who we are. The celebration was capped off by our class’s incredible Reunion Class Gift of $116,157 – funds that will support the journey of a new generation of Rollins students. |
| Dave Berto '56 (pictured center) The experience of working for Reunion 2011 was very inspiring. It was rewarding to talk or e-mail many of the class of 1956, connecting us once again to our grand Rollins. To work for the reunion and then to be on the campus to enjoy it was special. Connecting with others for all the years was easy and fun. Everyone I talked to, alumni, faculty, students, and staff were proud to have Rollins as our college and stay connected for LIFE. I would do it again with JOY! |

| Barth Engert '60 (pictured far left) Serving as a 50th Reunion volunteer renewed my appreciation of my Rollins experience in a very real way. Encouraging classmates to return to campus by writing, phoning and emailing, and their showing-up for an incredible weekend, has resulted in a long-lasting emotional high six months later! |

| Dan Laurent '60 It turned out that volunteering to write letters and emails to classmates (encouraging them to attend reunion) had the effect of "dusting off" my memory. It prompted me to remember individuals I had not thought of in years, and the more I did, the more I got into the spirit of Reunion. It was all good and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to volunteer again! |
