The STARS (Senior TARS) Scholarship Program was established to provide financial assistance to students who might otherwise be unable to pursue our non-credit courses. Awards are based on a combination of financial need and essays.
Scholarship applications are due on the 15th of the month before your class (For example, if you were taking a November class, you would need to apply before October 15).
Please complete an application for each course.
Please submit this form along with the two short essays listed below.
Awards are competitive and based primarily on financial need. The Rollins Center for Lifelong Learning Advisory Council will make the final decisions. Award recipients will be notified in writing and by email by the end of the month before class starts.
Please contact Peggy Smith-Clayman at (407) 646-1577 or email@example.com.
Each individual course is $60. The scholarship covers $50 per course (you are only responsible for $10). You may apply for up to three scholarships a semester (fall or spring).
