The Rollins College Center for Pre-Law Advising (RCCPLA) exists for three reasons: (1) to help students get admitted to an accredited law school, preferably to their first choice law school; (2) to counsel students with regard to every aspect of the law school application process; (3) to counsel students who are making graduate school and career choices, and who may be considering the study of law.
Individual one-on-one adviser-student counseling is not only offered, it is encouraged. Students are invited to schedule appointments as often as is reasonably necessary and to start the counseling early in the freshman year, preferably in the first week or two of classes. You should make it a point to schedule appointments at least once or twice every year so that we can not only address your questions, but keep you abreast of new and changing law school admission information. Parents are always welcome, provided that they attend meetings with you, or that we have your advanced written permission to discuss your law school planning with them.
