Your child has expressed an interest in becoming part of the Rollins College Educational Talent Search program. The program is based at the Rollins College Rosen Family Center, but a representative from the program will be at your child’s school on a regular basis throughout the year to talk with students about their educational goals and to help them identify and achieve their full potential for excellence.
Educational Talent Search is a joint venture funded through the U.S. Department of Education and Rollins College and is provided as a free service through your local school. Participants are provided with group and individual advising in areas of study skills, career exploration, college exploration, decision making, self-awareness and financial aid. Students will be selected for the program based on their need for these services and on their qualifications.
Federal TRiO Program Guidelines:
Two-thirds of the participants must demonstrate economic need and have the potential to be the first person in their family to earn a four year college degree. In order for you to assist your child we are asking for your help to complete the application process. All financial information you provide will be strictly confidential. The Educational Talent Search application is attached. Thank you for taking the time to complete this application.
