Post Office

The Rollins College Post Office is located in the heart of the campus, on the bottom floor of the Cornell Campus Center.  Here, students can retrieve mail from the pick up window and pick up packages from either the Starboard or Port Side Parcel Lockers.  Additional Parcel Lockers are also located in Lakeside, and outside the Olin Library. Outbound services are no longer available at the window.  Rollins is conveniently located within walking distance to both a UPS and FedEx store, and the Winter Park Post Office is within close proxemics to the College for all outbound shipping and mailing needs.

Our Mission

The mission of Rollins College Mail Services is to provide a professional and efficient mail service to the campus community using existing and emerging technology. We are responsible for the delivery, collection and processing of all interoffice, U.S. Postal Service and FedEx mail for all college administrative offices. In addition, we provide mail and package services for all students who live on the Rollins College campus.

A campus mailbox number is assigned by the RCPO to students who reside in on-campus Rollins housing. This assignment will remain the same as long as the student continues to reside on campus.

To retrieve your mailbox assignment, visit FoxLink:
FoxLink > Student tab > Student Life module > My Rollins Mailbox.

Having problems? Email RCPO at postoffice@rollins.edu

All items sent to students should be clearly and legibly addressed as follows:

[Student’s Name]

Rollins College

1000 Holt Ave – [XXXX] (replace with student’s mailbox assignment)

Winter Park FL 32789

Students are required to use their assigned mailbox number on all mail and packages. Failure to do so may result in delay or return for address correction.

Rollins accepts packages from all major delivery carriers and upon receipt at the RCPO, they are scanned and loaded into RCPO package lockers.

Students will receive a pickup email (from our vendor, Pack City), and pickup code and barcode for the corresponding package locker. Students will have three days to retrieve their packages.

  1. Initial Notice: Email when package is set for pickup
  2. Reminder Notice: Email 24 hours after initial notice
  3. Withdrawal Notice: Email after 73 hours or when package is removed from locker
  4. Final Notice: Email sharing return to sender date by RCPO

This is the method of delivery for all packages unless it is too large for the system, please see Oversized/Overweight Packages. Students must wait for the email to retrieve their package. Due to the large number of packages received each day, post office personnel are not permitted to sort through the stacks to find a package for a student. This wastes time and delays all packages.

Move In Packages – Please plan the arrival of your packages as close to your arrival as possible.  We will hold packages for incoming students received within two weeks of the student’s arrival on Campus.  Storage space is limited so please plan accordingly.  All packages must include the student’s campus mailbox number in the address.

Students MAY NOT submit a “Change of Address” order with the USPS. The USPS does not recognize students individually with 1000 Holt Ave. addresses. If a student leaves Rollins or relocates to an off-campus location, mail will be forwarded by the RCPO for 60 days to the student’s permanent home address (on-file with Rollins). After 60 days, all mail is returned to sender.

To update address information with Rollins, please contact the Office of the Registrar. Inform all parties of a new address as soon as possible, including online retails and subscription services.

If you suspect that your items are lost, please visit the RCPO for assistance. Before visiting RCPO, please review the following:

  • A delivery carrier tracking number is required for package inquiries. An order number is NOT a tracking number.
  • Know your Rollins mailbox number (found in FoxLink).
  • Verify the package’s delivery status is “delivered.”
  • Search your emails (and junk/spam folder) for an email from Pack City (no-reply@packcity.com).
  • If your package was delivered over a weekend/closure day, wait until 3 p.m. the following day for inquiries.
  • Due to the high volume of packages received at the beginning of the semester, packages may be delayed up to 36 hours. Please wait to inquire.

Mail or packages received with apparent damage will be marked as such by the RCPO. If there is internal damage or contents missing, the student must contact the sender and/or delivery carrier on this issue.

We recommend not disposing of damaged items/packaging in case the carrier may require proof of damage for a claim.

Rollins is not liable for any item damaged prior to delivery.

RCPO and FR will accept perishable items for residential students. Medication must be delivered to the RCPO. All items of this nature must include student name and mailbox assignment. Upon delivery, an email notification will be sent to the student for immediate pickup. Medications will be placed into package lockers in the RCPO.

Please consider the following for perishable items and medication deliveries:

  • Students must be on campus at the time of item delivery
  • Rollins has limited ability to keep perishable/medical items refrigerated
  • Florida’s climate is not conducive to the successful delivery of perishable packages, items might melt, spoil or wilt when exposed.
  • Business delivery couriers are not permitted to access our residential halls.

Rollins will assume no responsibility for the condition of the item when delivered to the student, and is not responsible for the proper storage and security of these items, especially during non-business hours/days (i.e.
