Professional Staff 

Brent Turner, Director: Brent grew up in Virginia and attended The College of William and Mary in historic Colonial Williamsburg where he was involved in various aspects of campus life including singing a cappella and a founding father of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He then attended graduate school at The Ohio State University in Educational Policy and Leadership. Before Rollins, he worked in several states and abroad! Sara Christovich, Assistant Director, Student Organizations and Campus Events: Originally from California, Sara attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She was involved in Student Government Association, student organizations, campus programming, and worked in the student activities office. From there, Sara received her Master's Degree in Higher Education Leadership from the University of San Diego. Vicki Hurd, Administrative Assistant:  Vicki was born in Washington D.C. to a military family and lived in various places around the world. Her family returned to Winter Park at an early age and has remained in the area. Vicki and her husband, Brad, have raised their two children in Winter Park; their daughter is a sophomore at UCF and son a senior at Winter Park High School. Vicki’s father attended and graduated from Rollins College and grandfather was a professional photographer owning a studio on Park Avenue. He was well acquainted with Rollins College; taking many pictures that are currently part of the College’s archives. Vicki loves being part of the OSIL team and enjoys being the “office mom”. Aeryel "Sunshine" Williams, Graduate Assistant: Sunshine is currently a Permanent Resident of Orlando, FL but has lived in OH, GA, CA, and TX! Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Central Florida in Interdisciplinary Studies with dual minors in Leadership Studies and Marketing.  Sunshine has been a peer Advisor for the Office of Interdisciplinary Studies at UCF for the past two years. She is also a Peer Mentor for SARC and MASS at UCF.  Sunshine served on 11 executive boards during her undergraduate experience, varying from Res Life, SGA, Honor Society, LEAD Scholars and the love of her life Caribbean Students' Association. Her primary function in OSIL is Campus Programming so she will be working closely with Rollins Entertainment Program and Miracle at Rollins. She has been accepted to the Master’s program at UCF for Nonprofit Management. Her favorite hobby is traveling, she goes somewhere every other weekend...and she's international! Grace MacLean, Graduate Assistant: Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Grace made her way down to the Sunshine State for her undergraduate degree at Rollins College in Religious Studies. She is currently enrolled at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and will receive her MBA in the Spring of 2013. Throughout her collegiate career she played on the Varsity Volleyball team, held numerous leadership positions for her organization, Kappa Delta Sorority, and studied abroad in Sydney, Australia. Grace is looking forward to working with students on a variety of programs and organizations in Fraternity and Sorority Life, such as Peers for Personal and Social Responsibility and Order of Omega. Email: gmaclean@rollins.edu

Kasey Geremia, Graduate Assistant: Originally from Rhode Island, Kasey received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rollins. Kasey was a member of OSIL’s Student Staff during her undergraduate experience and she’s excited to continue working for the office in her new role as a Graduate Assistant. During Kasey’s assistantship she will work with the Director, Brent Turner, to focus on Leadership as well as working with the Student Government Association. Maria Quattrocchi, Graduate Assistant: Maria is originally from Brooklyn, New York, but has lived outside of Princeton, New Jersey for the last few years while attending The College of New Jersey.  At TCNJ, she majored in Political Science and was very involved in her sorority.  She held four positions, two of which were on the executive board, and was Treasurer for TCNJ's Panhellenic Association.  She is attending UCF for her graduate program and is working on her Master's degree in Higher Education/Student Personnel, hopefully landing her a career in Fraternity and Sorority Life.  In order to achieve that career goal, Maria is working in the FSL area within OSIL.  In her spare time, Maria likes shopping, traveling, hanging out with friends, cooking and listening to music.  Fun fact: she can clap with one hand (she'll show you, just ask)! Ryan Abernethy, Graduate Assistant: Ryan is originally from Clearwater, Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Ryan was involved in numerous organizations and as a Resident Assistant while at UCF. He is currently attending Graduate School at UCF working towards completing his Master’s degree in Health Services Administration. Ryan will be advising advising student organizations and Fox Funds at Rollins. In his free time, Ryan enjoys surfing, fishing and playing guitar! Email: rabernethy@rollins.edu
