Chapel Service Celebrates 125 Years

On Sunday, November 7, Rollins College and the First Congregational Church of Winter Park jointly conducted a service in Knowles Memorial Chapel featuring a sermon by President Emeritus Thaddeus Seymour and special remarks by President Emerita Rita Bornstein and President Lewis Duncan. Dean of the Chapel Patrick Powers was joined by the First Congregational Church of Winter Park’s Pastor Bryan Fulwider and Associate Pastor Talia Raymond (Class of 2002) for this service commemorating Rollins’ founding 125 years ago. Afterward, a special tree planting took place to honor the College’s historical relationship with the Congregational Church.
