Back to Back Titles and Awards for the Women's Soccer Team

The Tars women’s soccer team is having another successful season. 

For the second year in a row, the team was undefeated in the Sunshine State Conference, earning them the coveted number #1 in the conference. The Tars also seized two other desirable titles for a second year in a row; Meagan Thomas (Class of 2012) was awarded defensive player of the year, and Head Coach Tony Amato was awarded Coach of the Year Award.

Currently ranked #8 in the national poll, the Tars are preparing to host the Sunshine State Conference this weekend, November 6 through November 8. The Tars first game will be versus Saint Leo. For the two teams winning the preliminary games, the semifinals will be held on Sunday, November 8 at 1 p.m. on the Cahall-Sandspur Field. Come out and show your school spirit!
