Come out and shop with MarketPlace India this weekend and support fair-trade Indian textiles. Affordable and quality clothing and accessories will be on sale to benefit MarketPlace India.

The mission of MarketPlace India is to benefit Indian women who work in textiles. The organization was established to alleviate the overwhelming presence of sweat shop labor in India and provide women with better opportunities for employment. MarketPlace India works with 14 co-operatives consisting of 480 artisans in India that produces high-quality women's apparel and home decor items. The organization provides better work environments, more reasonable work hours and increased wages.
