It's Not Too Late to Get Involved in Halloween Howl!

October 26, 2009

Are you involved in a student organization that wants to help the community? Then you are invited to host an activity at Halloween Howl on Saturday, October 31 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Halloween Howl incorporates students, faculty, staff, their families, and the community in this great day of ghoulish fun and ghostly surprises! There will be haunted houses in most of the buildings surrounding Mills Lawn as well as inflatable fun houses, stage performances, a costume contest, and activity tables hosted by various student organizations.

If you or your organization would like to host an activity, e-mail LEAD Team member Jeni Collins at jcollins@rollins.edu including the activity you will be hosting. Some examples of activities include face painting, ball toss, balloons and darts, decorating pumpkins, and making canvas candy bags. The options are endless. So get as creative as you’d like, making your table specific to your organization! Student organizations must arrive around 1 p.m. for setup.

If you would like to volunteer on the day of the event, e-mail Katie Powell klpowell@rollins.edu.

Halloween Howl is sponsored by the offices of Community Enagement, Residential Life, Alumni Relations, Multicultural Affairs, Student Involvement and Leadership, All Campus Events (ACE), Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Team, Join Us in Making Progress (JUMP), and Residential Hall Association (RHA).
