Susan Throm-White, Executive Assistant
Susan Throm-White currently serves in the capacity of Executive Assistant to the Department of Music. She has held this position at Rollins for over 25 years. In this position Susan is responsible for all Department of Music marketing and communications, overseeing department budgets, payroll, purchasing and serves as inter-departmental liason with the rest of the College and community. Additionally, she coordinates registrations for the Community School of Music, the Department's community outreach program, and works with prospective students to make their exploration of and transition to Rollins successful. Susan's longevity with the Department has made her the default Department historian.
Additionally on the Rollins Campus, Susan serves as Wedding Coordinator at Knowles Memorial Chapel. Throughout her tenure at Rollins she has also served on several committees at the College. Before coming to Rollins, Susan was a contract services analyst for commercial airlines.
Susan is a long-time Central Florida resident, and grew up in the Winter Park area, with family connections to Rollins. When not working, Susan enjoys time with her family, including her husband, Richard, two children and two step-children. She also enjoys fishing, reading, gardening, and traveling.
