Adjunct Professor of Trombone
Mr. Aaron Lefkowitz joined the faculty of Rollins College Music Department in 2005 and has taught the Rollins College Wind Ensemble since 2006. He holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Russian Language and Literature and the University of Central Florida in Music Education and Music Performance. He also has a Master's of Music Education degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
He has taught as a high school band director at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, and at Coppell High School in Coppell, Texas. His professional memberships include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Pi Kappa Lambda. He remains active as an arranger, conductor, composer, clinician, adjudicator, and music publisher with Aeolus Music Publications (www.kreines.com). He is the Associate Conductor of the Orlando Concert Band, and is also a freelance trombone player, and performs with the Bach Festival Orchestra. During the day, he is a Commercial Loan Officer with Florida Bank of Commerce in downtown Orlando.
