Adjunct Professor of Voice
A member of the Rollins College voice faculty, Ms. Gifford is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She continued her studies at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, earning a Master of Music degree in voice and completing three years of postgraduate work in vocal pedagogy. She also studied at the Institute for Advanced Vocal Studies in Paris and was one of six singers chosen for the Aspen Music Festival’s Vocal Chamber Music program. Ms. Gifford has appeared as a soloist with the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati, the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, Florida and the Messiah Choral Society of Orlando. Ms. Gifford loves collaborating with composers of new music and has been pleased to premiere several of Daniel Crozier’s award-winning compositions, including his opera With Blood, With Ink. She is a member of the Sigma Alpha Iota professional music fraternity for women and a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. In addition to her classical concert performances, Ms. Gifford is a pop vocalist and enjoys her work as a studio and backup singer.
