Keith BolvesA graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Keith Bolves is a two-time winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and a finalist in the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition.  He has appeared with the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Santa Fe Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Orlando Opera, Skylight Opera Milwaukee, Lyric Theatre of New York and Curtis Opera Theater performing such roles as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana, Don Jose in Carmen, Alfredo in La Traviata, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Jupiter in Serse and the title role of Faust under the baton of world renown conductor, Julius Rudel.  In addition to his experience in the world of classical music, Keith has also won critical acclaim for his portrayals of Lt. Joe Cable in South Pacific, Tony in West Side Story, and the title role in Candide.

He has performed with orchestras throughout the world including the Warsaw Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra and others in performances of Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, Lizst’s Faust Symphony and Mozart’s timeless Requiem to name but a few.

Mr. Bolves made his Lincoln Center debut at the Avery Fisher Hall as the featured tenor along with Metropolitan Opera star Kathleen Battle, violinist Sarah Chang and actor Paul Sorvino. Mr. Bolves appears on the CPO Music recording of Tchaikovsky’s opera Iolanta, and on the recently released “Sing O Ye Heavens” with the Bach Festival Orchestra.
