Rollins Graduate School of Business Ranked Top in Florida for Leadership Development
Leadership Excellence Magazine Honors Center for Leadership Development Programs
The Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business today announced that it has been recognized for the past four consecutive years as a top leadership development educator by Leadership Excellence magazine. For the 2012 ranking Rollins was cited as 19th in the nation and the highest ranked in Florida.
“We are pleased that once again Rollins has been recognized as a top business school for leadership development in the U.S.,” said Craig McAllister, Dean Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. “Our mission is to prepare students to be both managers and leaders who will add value to their organizations and communities.”
“Our vision is to be a recognized leader in graduate business education with the reputation for producing highly successful managers and leaders,” said Susan A. Bach, executive director at the Center for Leadership Development, Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. “It’s gratifying that our ranking has increased year over year and to be recognized for the development work the Center does. This recognition reinforces the significance of leadership effectiveness in a dynamic business environment.”
Leadership Excellence magazine connected with over 1,000 organizations known for an emphasis on developing leaders and selected 500 in seven categories, including 50 universities for the final list. The rankings are based on seven criteria: vision/mission; involvement and participation; measurement and accountability; design, content and curriculum; presenters, presentations and delivery; take-home value; and outreach.
