Rollins MBA Ranked as a Best Business School by Poets & Quants
January 12, 2011 – Rollins MBA has been ranked as a "Best Business School" in Poets&Quants authoritative ranking of the world’s top graduate business schools.
“We are honored at this affirmation of the quality of our programs by the Poets&Quants ranking,” said Jackie Brito, assistant dean, Rollins MBA. “To be recognized among the top MBA programs in the world offers external validation of the quality of our faculty, staff and students and the caliber of the management education that we deliver.”
The Poets&Quants 2010 ranking is a composite of the five major MBA rankings published by Bloomberg BusinessWeek, The Economist, The Financial Times, Forbes, and U.S. News & World Report. The ranking takes into account a massive wealth of quantitative and qualitative data captured in the five major lists, from surveys of corporate recruiters, MBA graduates, deans and faculty publication records to median GPA and GMAT scores of entering students as well as the latest salary and employment statistics of the latest graduating class.
By blending these rankings using a system that takes into account each of their strengths as well as their flaws, Poets&Quants tends to eliminate anomalies and other statistical distortions that often occur in one ranking or another. In any case, the ranking measures the overall quality and reputation of the flagship full-time MBA programs at the schools.
Poets&Quants was founded by former BusinessWeek Executive Editor and former Fast Company Editor-in-Chief John A. Byrne. Byrne created the first regularly published ranking of business schools for BusinessWeek in 1988. He is currently editor-in-chief of Poets&Quants and chairman of C-Change Media Co.
