Experiential Learning

Our students work with real companies and take on real business challenges. You'll tackle problems in class on Saturday that will give you practical experience you can put to work on Monday.

Students will be grouped into teams to learn from each other and find success together. They will quickly learn they have formed a core of trusted advisors that will last well into their careers.

In addition to hands-on global opportunities, several domestic and in-class opportunities are available. Here are some examples:

Marketing Strategy & Planning
We don’t just sit back and talk about marketing theory, we work with real companies to build a strategy, vision and plan that can be implemented in the marketplace.

Operations Management
Students analyze a real company’s operations and come up with recommendations that actually make a difference. Organizations range from restaurants to nonprofit organizations to manufacturing companies.

Global Supply Chain Management
Student teams experience all the challenges and decisions that managers have to make in the real world. Using a sophisticated simulation program, they test key parts of their global supply chain strategy, such as where to locate, where to compete, and which modes of transportation and suppliers to use.
