Upon completion of program degree requirements, Executive MBA students will have the ability to achieve an optional concentration in one of the following fields of study:
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- International Business
- Management
- Marketing
- Operations & Technology Management
Nine credit hours are required for a concentration. Credit hours earned in the advanced courses may be applied toward a concentration.
Students starting the Executive MBA program in April will finish the degree requirements at the end of the summer the following year and may take classes in the fall and spring semesters to earn a concentration. Students who start in August will complete the degree requirements in October of the following year and can take classes in the spring and summer terms to complete their concentrations.
Students may take advanced courses toward the optional concentration in the evening with the Professional MBA students. Classes taken toward earning the concentration are charged at the same per-credit rate as the rest of the program. (See the Tuition & Financial Aid page for current per-credit hour rates.)
