Financial Incentives Program

Merit-Based Scholarships
All Early Advantage MBA applicants are automatically considered for merit-based full and partial tuition scholarships. Scholarships are only available to Early Advantage (full-time) students and are offered based on students' GMAT scores and GPAs. As long as funds are available, a minimum GMAT score of 720 and a 3.0 or higher GPA could result in a full-tuition (up to $67,320) scholarship; a minimum 600 GMAT/3.0 or higher GPA could result in a $20,000 scholarship. There are various ranges in between. Students currently under the Rollins tuition remission program are not eligible to receive merit-based scholarships.

MBA Leadership Scholars Award
Early Advantage MBA applicants may also apply for the MBA Leadership Scholars Award, a full or partial tuition scholarship ($5,000-$67,320) given to students with demonstrated success in leadership. Each MBA Leadership Scholar will gain hands-on experience by participating in Center for Leadership Development activities and programs, including serving on the Leadership Student Advisory Board and as liaison to the Community Advisory Board, completing the Leadership Road Map each year, leading one activity each year (such as the Leadership Book Club or a community service activity), participating in the Leadership Certificate Program, and competing for the SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit award. Recipients must also maintain good academic standing.

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit an essay describing their leadership experience and perspective. Applicants must define "leadership" in their own words and give specific examples of how they have demonstrated leadership in previous roles (academic, community-related, athletics, or any other extra-curricular activity). Essays must be no longer than 500 words. In addition, applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from an individual who can speak to their involvement and abilities as a leader. Essays and letters should be e-mailed to mbaadmissions@rollins.edu with the subject line "MBA Leadership Scholars."

Graduate Housing Stipend
Early Advantage MBA students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (3.2 or higher in their major), as well as a professional-level internship, will be considered for a graduate housing stipend. Students are encouraged to apply early while stipends are available.

Graduate Assistantships
Graduate Assistantships are available to Early Advantage MBA students on a first-come first-serve basis. In addition to an hourly compensation rate, some assistantships also include tuition remission. Students must be classified as being in “good academic standing” in order to qualify for an assistantship that includes tuition remission. Please note that students who have other employment opportunities are not eligible to be considered for these positions. Students who are receiving tuition remission assistantships will not be eligible to receive Rollins MBA full or partial merit-based scholarships.
