Theodore Herbert is Professor of Management at Rollins College’s Graduate School of Business, where he teaches MBA courses on corporate entrepreneurship, competition and strategy, and management policy. Dr. Herbert also serves as a consultant to large and small businesses and nonprofit organizations on business strategy, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
Before coming to Rollins College, he taught at the University of Akron, University of Texas, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Concordia University in Montréal, Québec.
Dr. Herbert has published a reference book which was named an “Outstanding Academic Book” by Choice Magazine. He has also published four textbooks, written more than 80 articles, and shared his research in more than 120 papers before learned and professional societies throughout the world. He is currently writing two additional books. Ted is a Fellow of the Academy of Management and a Fellow of the Southern Management Association. In May 2011, he was unanimously elected to the Glo-Bus Hall of Fame, and named a Master Professor (one of 68 worldwide); he was honored “for outstanding achievement in teaching the concepts and tools of strategic analysis in a manner enabling students to display high-caliber skills in crafting and executing business strategies in a globally competitive market environment.”
