Ilan Alon, Ph.D., is the George D. and Harriet W. Cornell Chair of International Business and director at The China Center at Rollins College, and Visiting Scholar and Asia Fellow at Harvard University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on international business management and marketing at Rollins College. Dr. Alon is also an international business consultant, with experience in America, Asia, and Europe, and a featured speaker in many professional associations. He is currently the Senior Editor of Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Editor of AIB Insights, an official publication of the Academy of International Business. Alon is also the Consulting Editor for the Financial Times/Pearson Education.
Dr. Alon has taught courses in top Chinese MBA programs including those at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University and China Europe International Business School, as well as in universities in Germany, France, Italy, Russia, Croatia, Slovenia, India and Israel. Dr. Alon is a recipient of the Chinese Marketing Award, a dual award from the Tripod Marketing Association (China) and the Society for Marketing Advances (USA). His research on international business has also gained him the recognition of Arthur Vining Davis award and McKean grant at Rollins College.
