Ted Veit has been a Professor of Finance at Rollins College. He retired after 24 years on the Rollins MBA faculty but will continue to teach as an adjunct professor during the spring 2014 semester.
Dr. Veit’s research interests are in the areas of corporate finance and investments. He has published extensively in academic journals such as the Financial Review, Journal of Portfolio Management, and the Journal of Futures Markets.
Before coming to Rollins in 1988, Dr. Veit served on the faculties of the University of Arkansas, West Virginia University, and the University of Central Florida. He has also held visiting positions at the University of Porto (Portugal) and the Czechoslovak Management Center.
Dr. Veit is a member of the Eastern Finance Association where he was elected to the Board of Directors and held the position of Vice President of Arrangements. He is a member of the Academy of Financial Services where he held positions as Vice President - Arrangements, Executive Vice President – Program, and President. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst professional designation.
