The Math and Computer Science Department offers both a Computer Science major and a minor based on curricula developed by The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The major is designed to teach students how to effectively develop software programs to solve many types of problems and to prepare them for graduate study in Computer Science.

The minor in Computer Science complements any major for which computer applications are required. The minor also gives students background for many computer-related occupations.
