Browzine is a service that allows users to monitor, browse, and read new articles and issues in their favorite scholarly journals from their mobile devices. Browzine users can find journals available through Rollins or Open Access and create a personalized virtual bookshelf that updates when new journal issues are released.
The service works through an app that you install on your tablet or mobile device. Currently, it is available for iPads and Android tablets. The developer is working on Android and iPhone versions, which they plan to release in September of 2013. The app is configured to work through our proxy server, so you can access these journals from off campus.
To download the free app, get it from the Google Play Store (for Android devices) or iTunes (for Apple products). Kindle Fire users can also get the app from the Amazon Kindle App Store. Once the app is installed, select Rollins College from the list of institutions, and log in with your Rollins FoxID and password.iTunes and Google Play.
