Stop by Tars Plaza and make a difference in just five minutes with an activity supporting Winter Park Day Nursery. Afterwards, enjoy a treat from the coffee bar.

How to Use the SDGs to Localize Innovation

Feb. 17 | 11 a.m. | Virtual
During this Sullivan Masterclass, Dustin Lou, a U.S. Youth Observer for the United Nations, will share examples on how to localize the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

12 Bell Salute

Feb. 17 | 12 p.m. | Knowles Memorial Chapel
At noon, the Knowles Memorial Chapel bell will ring a dozen times in honor of Rollins’ 12th president.

Hunger Project Build

Feb. 17 | 12:30–2 p.m. | Rice Pavilion
Join us for a hunger project build with Feeding Children Everywhere. Participants will create 10,000 food kits in a fun and socially distanced assembly line set-up. Participants will be required to wear masks and abide by strict safety regulations including temperature checks upon entrance.

Central Park Gardening Project

Feb. 17 | 1–2:30 p.m. | Central Park on Park Avenue
Help spruce up the native garden just south of the SunRail station that was created by environmental studies professor Bruce Stephenson and his students. All supplies will be provided. Participants will be required to wear a mask and abide by strict safety regulations.

Habitat for Humanity

Feb. 17 | 3–5 p.m.
President Seymour served as co-founder and chairman of Habitat for Humanity Winter Park, and in his honor participants will be working on a local build. Projects will vary and are dependent on the needs at the time of build. All supplies will be provided. Participants will be required to wear a mask and abide by strict safety regulations.
