There are numerous attractions and points of interest in Central Florida.

Cape Canaveral National Seashore: "The longest expanse of pristine shore in Florida," with several recreational opportunities and points of interest for nature lovers.

Disney World: Disney has six parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney BoardWalk.

Enzian: Enzian is a single screen cinema café and home of Eden Bar and the Florida Film Festival. A member supported, non-profit cultural organization, Enzian exists to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through film.

Gatorland: "Gatorland provides affordable family fun while showcasing thousands of alligators and crocodiles" and also features a "free-flight aviary, petting zoo, one of a kind animal shows, natural alligator breeding marsh, and the 'thrilling' Screamin' Gator Zip Line."

Harry P. Leu Gardens: A 50-acre botantical garden a short distance from Rollins.

Historic Hannibal Square: A short walk from your hotel, Hannibal Square is an historic area featuring shopping and dining opportunities.

Kennedy Space Center: "NASA's launch headquarters is the only place on Earth where you can tour launch areas, meet a veteran astronaut, see giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators, and even view a launch."

Merritt Island bird watching: The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge consists of 140,000 acres, and "provides a wide variety of habitats:  coastal dunes, saltwater estuaries and marshes, freshwater impoundments, scrub, pine flatwoods, and hardwood hammocks provide habitat for more than 1,500 species of plants and animals."

Morse Museum: The Morse houses "the world’s most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany....The Museum’s holdings also include a major collection of American art pottery and representative collections of late 19th- and early 20th-century American painting, graphics, and decorative art."

Park Avenue: "Park Avenue boasts more than 140 boutiques, sidewalk cafes, and museums," and is a short walk from the Alfond Inn.

Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens: "The Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden is a short walk from the Alfond Inn and dedicated to preserving the works of Czech sculptor Albin Polasek, celebrating representational art and exhibiting regional and international artists.".

Scenic Boat Tour of Winter Park: The "Scenic Boat Tour is an 18 passenger pontoon boat ride on the pristine Winter Park chain of Lakes" which "guarantees plenty of swaying palms, towering cypress trees, lush ferns and a variety of flourishing sub-tropical flowers. Breathtaking views of opulent private homes and exquisite estates sprawling along the shores are also a key feature of the scenic cruise."

Universal Studios: In addition to the main park, Universal has Islands of Adventure and CityWalk.
