Office of Institutional Analytics

Mission

 

Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, the mission of the Office of Institutional Analytics is to provide accurate and timely collection, analysis, and dissemination of institutional data. The Office serves as the College’s central data processing center and liaison for data communication.

The Office of Institutional Research supports both internal and external constituents by performing functions such as:

  • Providing official current and historical College statistics

  • Serving as the primary reporting contact with state and federal agencies, national statistical surveys, questionnaires, related professional organizations, and other requests for information

  • Supporting accreditation compliance and activities, such as internal and external reviews

  • Offering complimentary analysis for outcome measures and other forms of assessment

  • Developing, coordinating, and maintaining electronic data archives, management reports, and critical indicators

  • Reviewing and auditing records to verify accuracy of institutional data definitions and integrity, as well as coordinating with others to ensure that data are accurately collected, updated, and maintained
