As the 14th president of Rollins College, I am privileged to welcome you to our virtual academic home.
Rollins College was founded in 1885 by a group of Northern Congregationalists who wanted to provide the children of Florida’s frontier the opportunity to experience a New England-style liberal arts and sciences college education. Rollins has been a pioneer in many ways, most notably in the distinguished tradition of “experimental” education applied to the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. While maintaining its links with the past, Rollins always looks toward the future, preparing our graduates to find their purpose and their place as global citizens and responsible leaders.
Today, Rollins is recognized for the highest-quality undergraduate and graduate programs—in the Arts & Sciences, Crummer Graduate School of Business, and evening-degree offerings of the Hamilton Holt School. It is Rollins’ small class sizes, international experiences, applied liberal education approach, and award-winning faculty that truly set this college apart.
We invite you to get to know this very special learning community and the many educational and cultural opportunities Rollins offers. We hope you will visit us in person as well and look forward to greeting you on our beautiful campus.
