What: Rollins’ Winter Park Institute welcomes William Blake scholar Michael Phillips, who is presenting “The Art and Craft of Reproducing William Blake’s ‘Songs of Innocence and Experience.’” This event is free and open to the public.

Background: Michael Phillips is considered to be an expert on the printing process used by William Blake, an English poet, painter and printmaker who lived during the Anti-Jacobin Terror in Britain. Phillips will serve as a guest curator of the “William Blake Exhibition," which will open in Paris this spring. Phillips wrote the book William Blake The Creation of the Songs From Manuscript to Illuminated Printing and has been awarded several fellowships for his research and work on William Blake.
