Follow the links below to explore all the opportunities available to you through Rollins Approved Study Abroad programs. It is advantageous for you to participate on a Rollins Approved program because you will stay registered at Rollins while you are away, most of your financial aid and scholarships will transfer directly to the program costs, you may be able to fulfill major, minor or general education requirements, and your credits will appear on your Rollins’ transcript with the letter grade so that they will count towards your Rollins GPA. Moreover, we have selected and vetted these programs with Rollins students in mind to insure that they will be an excellent fit and offer strong academic and extracurricular opportunities for our students.

International Programs provides extensive support for these programs since we coordinate directly with our partners in the US and abroad to make all the program arrangements: everything from curriculum review to roommate assignments. We develop pre-departure materials, provide visa instructions and services as needed, provide advice about budgeting and assist students and parents with any and all questions, no matter how detailed! We also continuously review these programs and are always looking for ways to improve our students’ experiences.

For some of the Rollins programs—notably our Shanghai semester program and our Verano Español summer program —we send Rollins faculty members along to join students for the entire semester experience—the faculty member teaches courses and joins students on program activities and excursions. This allows for students to maintain a close connection with Rollins while experiencing a new country and culture and allows for deep faculty-student relationships to develop as the faculty member helps the students contextualize and reflect on their semesters abroad.
