The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a state-approved teacher education program designed to prepare individuals who have obtained the bachelor’s degree for careers in elementary education. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an area other than elementary education. |

The Hamilton Holt School offers the coursework that meets the Florida Department of Education certification requirements for elementary and selected areas of secondary teacher certification (English, Social Science, and Music), coursework for experienced teachers seeking recertification, and coursework for special students who wish to take only one or two courses in education. |
