The Learn-and-Earn program at Rollins College is a five-month study abroad program. Participants have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study at a U.S. News & World Report top-ranked American college and earn a certificate of completion (12 credits).
Students spend the first part of the program living on the
beautiful Rollins College campus for an orientation to American college
life. Students then participate in an academic training experience at
the Walt Disney World® Resort that gives them the opportunity to gain
real world experience with a world-renowned company and create lasting
friendships with other participants from around the world.
While completing their unique experience at Walt Disney World® Resort, participants return to campus once a week for classes.
Participants
continue learning in addition to earning at the Walt Disney World
Resort. Through the Disney International College Program, they have the
chance to network with leaders and take courses offered through the
Disney Learning Centers and the Disney Education team.
Students have the opportunity to share their customs and culture
with guests while gaining transferable skills and experience from one of
the most admired companies in the world. During their program,
participants will work in front-line roles such as hospitality, quick-
and full-service food and beverage, entertainment, merchandise and
attractions.
Students live in fully furnished apartment complexes with
recreational facilities including pools, gyms, tennis and basketball
courts. Each housing complex is gated with 24-hour security. Bus
transportation is provided to and from work and places of local interest
including the grocery store, post office and shopping mall.
