Listed below are the International Business requirements to receive full credit toward graduation in the major and minor. You can print the following tables for your records. For example, when if you complete Financial Accounting this Spring, you would write Spring 2005 in the semester completed box, indicating you have completed that requirement.

Major Requirements

Core courses: These courses are required to graduate from the International Business Major.

 Business related electives: Two business electives are required to complete the INB major. At least one must be at the 300-400 level:

Foreign language courses: Students must complete four courses beyond the 100 level, and at least two must be at the 300-400 level.

Area-Study Electives: Students may fulfill the area studies requirement in two ways. First, students may satisfy the requirement by taking at least two of the following courses; at least one must be at the 300-400 level.

Second, students may satisfy this requirement by completing one (1) of the following minors and substituting it for the two Area Studies electives. Language minors may not be used to satisfy the INB foreign language requirement. Most foreign language minors require six courses; the courses above the language requirement may be used to satisfy this requirement as long as at least one is at the 300-400 level.

Any exceptions or substitutions must be approved by the department.
